Memorial House of Mother Teresa

While we were preparing for our Fulbright, Mother Teresa became a Saint. We used that as an opportunity to learn more about her life and her work and her teachings. (More on this elsewhere on this blog)

We were eager to visit the Memorial House of Mother Teresa, built on the spot of the church where she was baptized.

The museum is open until 8:00 pm, so when my daughter came home from her first day of school here in Skopje, we decided to go out and celebrate by visiting this museum (and then we went out to dinner).

There are great resources on the website: http://memorialhouseofmotherteresa.com/en/

and facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/memorialhouseofmotherteresa/

VisitSkopje recently did a profile on Mother Teresa as a part of their series "Famous People from Skopje":
