QSI Community Time and PSG Meeting for February

Every month, on the last Friday of the month, my daughter's school hosts a "Community Time" -- when parents are invited to come see various classes perform and/or showcase things they've learned.  (This meeting took place on the 17th this month, because next Friday there is no school.)

At this month's event, my daughter was recognized with a diploma from her PE teacher for her participation in the ski trip to Mavrovo. What a wonderful opportunity! So glad that she was here for the ski trip!

Every month students work on projects and activities related to one of the "success orientations" -- this month's is "concern for others."  At this month's event the Level 5 students' (Kindergartners) performance was from a book How Full Is Your Bucket? (You can hear the book read to you here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5R6-2m_qHk)

here's the community room where the PSG (Parent Support Group) meetings are held
Immediately following is the PSG meeting (Parent Support Group -- the equivalent of the PTA or, in our case back in Florida, the PTSA)

Lots of great events and programs coming up this semester - including a spring festival that will celebrate QSI's 20th Anniversary in Macedonia.

In addition to learning more about concerns expressed by parents (and what the PSG intends to do to address them), I also enjoy meeting other parents at the school.

I rode the bus in to school (instead of hiring a taxi to ride alongside them on the way in)

along the route we passed this office supply playground - I love it!
